This fucking trailer

Made me want to know what Human Revolution was all about: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uGzpzlvf0Gs&feature=related
It's such a good trailer, it made me even want to buy it. The music fit so well, and for some reason I've been getting more into revolutions, since the main game I want to make has a central theme of revolution. So yeah...

This trailer is also fucking amazing. I love this song to death.

Something that's been bothering me, though, What is the point of this blog?
Just to talk about game shit, right? Well how about we do more with fleshing out game ideas, that could be more interesting, right? Or am I alone in that?
Like my Hello? idea :c no comments on it. I mean it could be fleshed out more. That's what brainstorming is for, right? And I need more than one mind to brainstorm.

BF3 mod for Skyrim is out

Looks legit.

Is That A Thing?: Gaming for Gamers

So as some of you might be aware, Adventureland 5: Snowday has come out this week. You plebeians know it as The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

I, like many others have been finding this newest edition of Adventureland to be quite satisfactory, in spite of the snow motif that has been nearly squeezed dry in the last few years. The combat is solid, the voice acting is good, and the stories are fantastic.

And I'm not just talking about the stories told to you through quests, but all of the stories you end up telling your friends who are also playing the game (if you have no friends playing the game, you have no friends). In my first few days playing, I've had the insatiable itch to talk about the game with people who have played it. Skyrim is just chock full of instances where you just want to turn to someone and scream "DID YOU FUCKING SEE THAT?"

I mean, I really have to hand it to Bethesda and co. for making a single player game that brings people together more than a multiplayer game or MMO. The 2 gaming forums I frequent most have been absolutely exploding with titillating Adventureland stories and screenshots, which serve both to get people to play the damn game, and encourage players already enjoying it to post stories of their own.

This is what I like to call, gaming for gamers, and this is where, I think, Bethesda has improved on its previous titles (though shield bash is pretty damn cool). Anybody can play and appreciate Adventureland, but it's games like this that bring a community of both dedicated, die-hards and new fans together. This coupled with the mod support and editing suite that Bethesda is so known for, gives you a game built with the gamer in mind, which, with the other big titles we've seen lately, namely Call of Duty and BF3, is a welcome gesture.

Anyway, play Skyrim if you haven't already. Trust me. It's worth it.

I'm gonna be the first to mention this game idea

Hello?

Survival horror game.
You communicate with the dead, maybe (or some shit)
First you find them, then you talk to them.
I mean have conversations like Siri or some shit.
And they react appropriately.
If you're good, then they are exorcised. If not, then...I dunno.
But the main thing is there will have to be a part where they look for ghosts with Hello.

OR
Maybe it's a kind of a zombie thing.
You have to find other humans. And the only way to find them is to call out "Hello" and hope that a human hears, understands and you can find them. I dunno.

Come at me
